While I have not found a proper job, I have been able to find work in cat sitting. I only have a few (3) clients that I generally sit for, but a neighbor has made me her new dog sitter.
We have a new tenant living in the upstairs bathroom. Todd's parents have reached their limit once she peed on his mom's scrap booking equipment. Patches is ten years old, and has been in and out of the vet since 2000 with chronic urinary tract infections, inappropriate urination all that fun stuff. I can't completely blame them for their decision, but it came down to bringing her here or putting her down.
She arrived Monday, peed on the floor maybe 4 times until yesterday afternoon when we took her to the vet. I was hopeful that my vet would be able to come up with something other than throwing antibiotic after antibiotic at her. The diagnosis was Interstitial Cystitis, treatment: bladder health and pain management. Now Patches has metacam (yes, I know) every other day, and kitty morphine twice a day along with cosequin daily in her food to help repair her bladder.
Since yesterday afternoon after she came home from the vet, we gave her metacam, came back upstairs in the evening to give her more medication and saw that she peed not once, but TWICE in her litter box. We are so proud! She ate all her laced food throughout the night and peed not once, but TWICE in her litter box.
I still need to gather the courage to inject her with her kitty morphine instead of doing it the pussy way by putting it on her gums. I thought I could do it, but I think it will be easier if we give her a lion cut, as she is a long haired cat. They make it look so easy on youtube!
In other kitty news, Tinkerbell received treatment for a possible parasite, Toxoplasmosis (the one where pregnant women shouldn't deal with litter during the first trimester, although eating the feces or eating a raw cat is really what you should be careful with). He got some nasty tasting medicine for about ten days, and is now on phenobarbitol once a day, with no seizures. I am quite pleased with my vet.
Hopefully our new tenant will warm up to the other four cats in the house. So far all she does is hiss and growl at them, but soon we hope to introduce her to Tinkerbell when she's all hopped up on goofballs and hope that she likes him.

I would do some of my own protesting but I don’t think threats are allowed so I would not have any fun. I like the anti abortion stuff more then the pro life stuff. I like the pro life stuff of a fetus sucking it’s thumb in the womb , that is cute.
I really really like the anti abortion people that carry signs with abortion doctors with gunscopes and bulls eyes on their faces. paul hill had a huge ass sign that said something about giving abortionist the death penalty.
I like it when people print up the addresses and phone numbers of abortion providers and release them to the general public. it makes these doctors fearful for the lives and that is what they deserve.
that is the kind of shit I think is cool and if you can’t do that kind of stuff then it would not be any fun for me so protesting and activist work aint worth my time. it does not change anything anways.
I ll just use my vote to change abortion, protesting does not change shit, hell voting might not even change anything either.
